The blog moved onto the main site with a unified visual language, and the team could track reader behavior and connect content to the product directly. Engagement metrics improved after the migration, based on data shared by the product analyst.
Task
Design a blog that lived inside the Rivo website, matched the product's visual language, and gave the team full control over layout, content structure, and the path from article to app.
Context
Rivo's blog lived on an external platform, which meant the team couldn't fully control the design, the content flow, or the way it connected back to the product. It also sat apart from the main site, so readers who came for an article rarely made their way into the app itself. The team wanted to bring the blog in-house to own the visual language and pull readers closer to the product.
Blog migration
Result
Users had a clear, in-app way to see what had changed in strategies they cared about, instead of relying on external sources.
Task
Design a compact updates block integrated into the strategy page, so users could track changes to a strategy directly inside the product.
Context
Strategies on Rivo weren't static protocols got added or removed, yield conditions changed, allocation shifted. For users who had already invested, these changes mattered: they affected risk and return on money they'd already committed. But there was no way to see what had changed without leaving the app and checking the blog or external channels.
Strategy updates
Inside the index – showing what's under the APY
Result
Users could now compare metaindexes by composition and risk, not just total yield – bridging the gap between the aggregate APY and the actual protocols behind it.
Task
Design a block on the strategy page that shows which underlying protocols make up each metaindex, their allocation, and their individual yields without disrupting the main APY hierarchy that drives the invest decision.
Context
Users saw a single APY on each metaindex "6.7% on ETH Metaindex", but didn't understand where that number came from. Behind it were multiple protocols with different weights, risks, and weekly yields. Without visibility into that structure, users hesitated at the invest step, especially those new to DeFi.
Overview
Rivo is a smart contract wallet where users log in with Google, deposit USDC, and earn yield through curated DeFi strategies – without needing a seed phrase, MetaMask, or any DeFi experience.
